Road to The Bash

WEEK 1

RAW

You would think Ezekiel Jackson would be tired of losing to Evan Bourne...and yet...afterwardsm Bourne tried to make nice, but it might have just offended Jackson further.

Poor Bolo. Even if Wade Barrett hadn't jumped him on the way to the ring and gave him the Wasteland on the floor, his chances of victory were not good. Big Show tried to keep Barrett from inflicting too much damage, but the outcome of this match was never in doubt.

William Regal and Drew McIntyre looked impressive in destroying Tyson Kidd and Primo in a Ladder Match, proving a point after last night's loss.

In a crushing Fatal Four Way, Edge pinned both Alberto Del Rio and Justin Gabriel while Big Show fought off an interfering Ted DiBiase...and then Big Show triumphed when he and Edge collided!

SUPERSTARS

Rob Van Dam and David Hart Smith made an odd team against Luke Gallows and Mike Knox...who looked impressive as they defeated Van Dam and Smith, despite interference from Cody Rhodes!

Joe Cothern jumped R-Truth from the crowd and wiped him out with a brutal lariat for the win!

Terry Funk was accompanied by Shinsuke Nakamura as he faced Skip Sheffield (w/Heath Slater). The younger and stronger Sheffield did a ton of damage, but the wily Funk inflicted some wounds of his own. However, The Nexus tricked Nakamura into causing a distraction that allowed Sheffield to take a chair to Funk. A Stunner put Funk out moments later.

SMACKDOWN

CM Punk opened the show against Drew McIntyre! William Regal ran out to interfere, but Kofi Kingston ran out to intercept him! Punk got the pin with the GTS!

Big Show and The Greatest American Bolo faced off with Mark Henry and MVP in a Tables Match! MVP and Henry jumped Show and Bolo before the match, but the good guys fought back and Show speared Henry through a table for the win!

Shelton Benjamin and Daniel Bryan picked up an impressive win over Nexus members Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel!

In the main event, Sting faced off with John Cena and Batista in a Triple Threat Tables Match! Despite Cena and Sting both being (mostly) fan favorites, they pulled no punches...in fact, Cena won when he drove Sting through a table with the Attitude Adjustment! As Cena celebrated, William Regal and Drew McIntyre came to the ramp and taunted him!

WEEK 2

RAW

Shinsuke Nakamura's new job description seems to be bodyguard to the babyfaces as R-Truth took on, and defeated, Vance Archer.

Wade Barrett fended off Dolph Ziggler in a good match...until the match was restarted as a Falls Count Anywhere Match! Barrett went after Ziggler with a chair...when Edge stormed the ring and Speared the WWE Champion! Ziggler picked up a huge win thanks to the interference!

William Regal and Drew McIntyre jumped Cryme Tyme before the bell, but nearly regretted it as Shad and JTG took the fight to them! Regal cheated to get the upperhand, when Kofi Kingston came down and got involved! Once the ref removed Kingston, Regal was able to pin JTG by using the ropes for leverage.

As Edge was in the process of taking Alberto Del Rio down in a #1 Contender's Match, Wade Barrett interfered! Edge wound up getting frustrated and nailed Barrett with a chair...and the referee DQed Edge!

SUPERSTARS

The Great Muta fended off an attack by Matt Hardy in order to pin Terry Funk with a Moonsault.

Mike Knox jumped The Rock from behind and hit the Knox Out on the concrete floor to score the pin in a Falls Count Anywhere Match!

In a six man Raw Battle Royal, Sheamus was the first elimination, at the hands of Santino! Ezekiel Jackson got the next elimination, sending Zack Ryder out. Joe Cothern dumped out Ezekiel Jackson as Big Show eliminated Santino, and the two big, bald men squared off! As hard as Cothern hits, it was ultimately Show that prevailed!

SMACKDOWN

The Miz jumped CM Punk before the match in their Extreme Rules Hardcore Title Match. Punk kept him from capitalizing and the match went back and forth. Miz stuck a trash can on Punk's head and whacked it with a chair, and finished him with the Skull Crushing Finale on the can for the win.

Alex Riley looked very impressive against Booker T, but Booker busted him open and put him down with the Book End!

The #1 Contenders Fatal Fourway between Christian, Luke Gallows, William Regal and Shelton Benjamin was crazy, including a Rey Mysterio run-in. Despite a ton of nearfalls, the end came when Christian hit the Killswitch on Gallows while Shelton and Regal fought on the floor, giving Christian the win.

Sting, John Cena and Batista met in a rematch, this one a Ladder Match! Again, it was every man for himself and Sting got split wide open...but he also managed to be the one to climb the ladder and pull off the win!

WEEK 3

RAW

Apparently The Greatest American Bolo was unavailable as Big Show had to announce a mystery partner to join him against Ted DiBiase and Joe Cothern...Chavo Guerrero! Dolph Ziggler also came out, getting in DiBiase and Cothern's heads and allowing Chavo to pick up an impressive pinfall on DiBiase.

Kane looked impressive, pinning Dolph Ziggler in a Falls Count Anywhere Match to become the #1 Contender to the US title. After the match, he went after Dolph with a chair, but Zack Ryder made the save!

JTG vs Justin Gabriel got so competitive that Heath Slater ran out to interfere, nervous about his partner's chances...but the 450 Splash ended JTG's hopes.

Edge defeated Albero Del Rio in a Iron Man Match that was actually little more than a bloody massacre!

SUPERSTARS

Sheamus jumped Shinsuke Nakamura before their match began, but Nakamura had counters ready for just about everything. However, the Celtic Warrior would not be denied and got the pin with the High Cross.

The Rock collided with Mike Knox and got the pin after Luke Gallows was ejected from ringside!

Despite a prematch attack by Kaval and Christian, Chavo Guerrero and The Greatest American Bolo pulled it together to beat the Christian Coalition.

SMACKDOWN

Sting came out to back up CM Punk against The Miz, but Christian still ran to the ring. As Punk was trying to run off Christian, Miz goaded Sting into taking a shot at him, which got Punk DQed!

William Regal triumphed over Rey Mysterio in a Falls Count Anywhere Match while Drew McIntyre watched on.

Cody Rhodes and Goldust looked brilliant against Mark Henry and MVP in a brutal tables match when Goldust put MVP through a table after the Shattered Dreams!

Batista vs John Cena was interrupted by Alex Riley, who attacked both men! Though neither man seemed too fazed, Cena was the one more distracted, allowing Batista the upperhand. The referee got bumped and Batista took a chair to Cena, then finished him with the Batista Bomb!

WEEK 4

RAW

Vladimir Kozlov utterly dominated Ted DiBiase.

Romero Contreras completely destroyed David Otunga.

In a SHOCKER, Tyson Kidd and Primo became the #1 Contenders to the Tag Team Titles after William Regal and Drew McIntyre had a miscommunication and Kofi Kingston got involved to disrupt Regal and McIntyre!

Edge picked up even more momentum by pinning Alberto Del Rio in a Steel Cage!

SUPERSTARS

Kane looked dominant, destroying US Champion Evan Bourne in a preview of their title match.

Matt Hardy stood about as much of a chance against Sheamus as you would expect.

In a Fatal Four Way Elimination Match, Mike Knox took on The Rock, Rob Van Dam and Shelton Benjamin! Shelton ate the first People's Elbow and Knox ate the second...RVD powered out of the Sharpshooter and got caught with the Rock Bottom! Rock scored a clean sweep!

SMACKDOWN

The Miz battled CM Punk in a crushing Extreme Rules Match for the Hardcore Title! Late in the match, he hit the Skull Crushing Finale on a bloody Punk but instead of going for the pin, set up a one man conchairto. Punk dodged it and came at Miz with a chair, but got nailed with boot and a DDT on the chair...Miz got his pin!

Rey Mysterio, Yoshi Tatsu, Christian and Kaval faced off in a Fatal Four Way that got turned into a Falls Count Anywhere Match! It stayed mostly along team lines for a while, until William Regal ran in and attacked everyone! There were a ton of nearfalls, but Rey ultimately caught his own partner for the pin!

Goldust picked up a small upset over William Regal with the Final Cut!

John Cena and Batista collided in a #1 Contender's Match! Batista hit the Batista Bomb early, but Kofi Kingston ran in! Later, Batista bumped the ref and went after Cena with a chair, but got caught with a shoulderblock! Cena hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Batista had the Attitude Adjustment scouted! Batista ripped the turnbuckle cover off and sent Cena in, injuring him for another Batista Bomb that finished it!

THE BASH

John Cena and Kofi Kingston looked dominant against Tyson Kidd and Primo, with Cena pinning Kidd to retain the Tag Team Titles.

Kane ambushed Evan Bourne from the crowd and laid waste to him! Bourne kicked out of a Choke Slam and fought valiantly...but Kane hit a second and become the NEW United States Champion!

Randy Orton dismantled Justin Gabriel, sending a message to WWE Champion Wade Barrett!

In a Championship Scramble match for the Intercontinental Title, Christian started off with Drew McIntyre! Drew showed the first signs of injury, but held on against Christian. Hardcore Champion and Christian Coalition member The Miz hit the ring next! Things started getting crazy violent with Christian hitting the Killswitch to The Miz on the floor, and McIntyre bringing the ring steps into play! William Regal hit the ring next, just in time to save McIntyre from Miz! However...he snuck in and pinned McIntyre himself, becoming the interim champion! Kofi came in last, and Miz was waiting with a steel chair! Kofi tried DESPERATELY to pin SOMEONE and retain his title, but time ran out as he covered Christian and William Regal won the Intercontinental title!

Sting came to the ring first, followed by Batista...but both men were shocked when Shawn Michaels' music hit! HBK came out of the crowd and nailed Batista, apparently an official entrant in the match! He immediately went for the Superkick on Sting, but Sting ducked! All three men went back and forth, with Batista hitting Batista Bombs and Sting firing up, locking him in a Scorpion Deathlock! The end came when Sting took a hard fall and HBK went up top...but Batista slid in the ring with the World title and NAILED HBK, knocking him to the mat and pinning him to become the NEW World Champion!

Edge, Alberto Del Rio and The Big Show came out for the main event...while Wade Barrett ran in from the crowd and attacked Show! He hit the Wasteland, but Del Rio broke it up! Barrett and Del Rio went at it and he set Del Rio up for a Wasteland of his own, when Edge hit the Edge-O-Matic on Show to steal the WWE title from Barrett!

ROAD TO EXTREME RULES

RAW

WEEK 1

Santino Marella looked impressive, pinning Ezekiel Jackson in a Falls Count Anywhere Match after the Cobra!

Goldust and Cody Rhodes looked great together, beating Tyson Kidd and Primo after Goldust pinned Primo following Shattered Dreams!

Romero Contreras murdered Chavo Guerrero.

Wade Barrett beat Sheamus to a bloody pulp in a #1 Contender's Match...but Edge ran in and took out his old rival Barrett with a Spear! This allowed Sheamus to hit the High Cross for the pin! However, Barrett had friends in high places and the match was restarted as a Falls Count Anywhere Match! Edge ran out again, but a wayward shot by Sheamus caused Edge to leave Sheamus to his fate...the Wasteland!

SUPERSTARS

In a Triple Threat Match, Kaval jumped Shelton Benjamin before the match during a bout with Mike Knox. They all went back and forth until Kaval caught Knox out of nowhere with a small package for the pin.

Heath Slater picked up a nice win over Matt Hardy.

As Triple H battled Joe Cothern, Cothern's Million Dollar Teammate Dolph Ziggler hit the ring...and laid out Cothern! Triple H looked confused...but hit the Pedigree for the pin!

SMACKDOWN

The Miz jumped Kofi Kingston from the crowd before their Hardcore Title Match, and used that advantage to pin him and win the Hardcore title.

Rey Mysterio looked like he had Christian on the ropes in a Tables Match, when Kaval ran in and split Rey wide open! This allowed Christian to put Rey through the table for the win.

As Raven and RVD fought MVP and Mark Henry in a cage, Raven made his escape first, which unfortunately left RVD alone against the other two. The reunion of MVP and Henry wasn't successful as RVD managed to thwart them and escape himself.

Sting and Batista squared off in a big brawl. Booker T tried to help Sting out, but Batista managed to use the chaos to bring a sledgehammer in and nail Sting. Ultimately, the Batista Bomb finished Sting.

WEEK 2

RAW

Kane took advantage of the mutual hatred between Zack Ryder and Ted DiBiase to win the Million Dollar Title in a Triple Threat Match! After the match, he went after Ryder with a chair when Dolph Ziggler hit the ring and ran him off!

William Regal and Drew McIntyre fended off Cody Rhodes and Goldust in a non title Falls Count Anywhere match thanks to intervention by Luke Gallows.

Alberto Del Rio jumped Big Show from the crowd before their match, using the unfair advantage to take Show out!

In a brutal Triple Threat Falls Count Anywhere main event, Sheamus pinned Edge to defeat him and Wade Barrett. Skip Sheffield got involved at one point but was sent scurrying...Sheamus stands tall to redeem himself after losing last week!

SUPERSTARS

Shinsuke Nakamura being at ringside did nothing to help Terry Funk against Husky Harris, who scored the pin after a crushing top rope senton.

Shelton Benjamin found himself in a precarious position, facing Alex Riley and Kaval in a Triple Threat Match. Benjamin managed to stun Kaval and Riley, pinning Kaval after Paydirt, just as fellow Christian Coalition stablemate John Morrison hit the ring with a chair!

R-Truth hit the ring on fire and polished off Vance Archer quickly!

SMACKDOWN

Jack Swagger and The Rock beat the living Hell out of one another, but Swagger came out on top with the Gutwrench Powerbomb! After the match, Undertaker appeared in the ring and gave Swagger a chokeslam!

In a match every bit as thrilling as you would expect, John Morrison pinned Rob Van Dam after a crushing running knee to the face!

Mark Henry and MVP jumped Cryme Tyme before their Tables Match! Though it was a good brawl, MVP and Henry never looked to be in real trouble, winning after MVP suplexed JTG through the table.

CM Punk and John Cena battled in a Tables Match that was interrupted mid-bout by Alex Riley! Riley laid both men out but Cena ultimately recovered and put a bloodied Punk through two stacked tables!

WEEK 3

RAW

As much damage as Ezekiel Jackson did to Evan Bourne in their Tables match to open Raw, Bourne still prevailed when he crushed Jackson through a table with the Air Bourne!

In a shocking show of ability, Dolph Ziggler outlasted Kane in an impromptu Submission Match to become the #1 Contender to the US title.

Joe Cothern hit the ring on fire and destroyed David Otunga, even putting his feet on the ropes to punctuate it.

Randy Orton stalled out some of Sheamus' momementum with an RKO!

SUPERSTARS

Because they haven't wrestled on Superstars enough, RVD faced off with Mike Knox. Knox stormed the ring before the match, but Van Dam still prevailed with the Five Star Frog Splash.

Ted DiBiase stormed the ring against Santino, but it failed for him like it just did Knox against RVD...I mean, c'mon, Santino's a former World Champion.

In a Raw battle Royal, Vladimir Kozlov eliminated Chavo Guerrero, Romero Contreras sent Terry Funk out, and Husky Harris accidentally eliminated his own team mate Skip Sheffield. Romero eliminated Harris moments later, and then suplexed Kozlov over the ropes and to the floor!

SMACKDOWN

Shelton Benjamin stormed the ring and wiped out Jack Swagger in a super fast "Falls Count Anywhere" match! After the match, Kaval and John Morrison came out onto the ramp and taunted Shelton!

The Miz gained some hardcore credibility with a successful title defense over Finlay in an Extreme Rules match.

John Cena and Kofi Kingston agreed to take on Alex Riley and a mystery partner in a Tables Match...Riley's partner? MIKE KNOX. William Regal walked to the ring...and blasted Kofi with a chair! In a shocker, a chair weilding CM Punk ran out of the crowd and seemingly ran Regal off!  Kofi ultimately got the win for his team with a flying legdrop through the table on Riley!

Shawn Michaels taught Batista a nasty lesson in being TOO laser focused, pinningg him to become the #1 Contender to the World Title! The match was restarted as a Submission Match...in which the two reviled men tore each other apart! HBK ultimately left Batista a bloody mess...and made him submit to the Figure Four Leglock!

Week 4

RAW

Kane, being cheered on by Alberto Del Rio, defended the Million Dollar Title against Santino. Dolph Ziggler was in the crowd, but Kane would not be distracted.

Vance Archer jumped Shinsuke Nakamura from behind before their match started, but he never capitalized and Nakamura planted him after the Boma Ye.

Tyson Kidd and Primo jumped John Cena and Kofi Kingston on their way to the ring, but Cena and Kingston destroyed the two smaller men and prevailed, becoming the #1 Contenders to the Tag Team Titles! After the match, Regal and McIntyre hit the ring and wiped them out!!

Edge was suckered by Wade Barrett into a handicap match against Skip Sheffield, Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater! The Nexus was too much for him, and Gabriel's 450 Splash put Edge out.

SUPERSTARS

The Great Muta prevailed over Terry Funk in an impromptu Falls Count Anywhere Match.

Mike Knox and Luke Gallows jumped Cody Rhodes and Goldust on their way to the ring! The Golden Boys tried to fight back, but Knox hit the Knoxed Out on Goldust to pick up the win!

Alberto Del Rio ambushed Triple H before their match began, and kept him from ever getting out of the starting gate.

SMACKDOWN

The Miz and John Morrison argued about who should start off their match against Shelton Benjamin and Daniel Bryan, and it proved to be a nasty bit of foreshadowing. Even when Kaval came out to interfere (and got suplexed into the ring steps by Shelton), The Christian Coalition could not keep focused enough to beat Shelton and Bryan.

Rey Mysterio fended off Mark Henry's interference en route to beating MVP!

CM Punk came out to take on Alex Riley for getting involved in his business a couple of weeks ago. As they went at it, John Morrison hit the ring and Punk looked nervous...until Morrison laid out Riley!! Punk looked stunned...then finished Riley off!

Sting and Shawn Michael faced off in an Iron Man Match with HBK getting the first pin, thanks to a pre-match sneak attack! Sting rallied back, but Batista ran in and hit the Batista Bomb! Booker T ran Batista off and Sting wound up pulling ahead, getting a 3-1 victory! HBK had to be carted away on a stretcher post-match!!

EXTREME RULES

John Morrison beat The Miz down for most of their TLC match...but Miz kicked Morrison off the top of the ladder and managed to yank the Hardcore title down!

In a clean, athletic contest, Evan Bourne pinned Dolph Ziggler with the Air Bourne to retain the US title!

Randy Orton reduced Alberto Del Rio to a bloody mess in a Last Man Standing match. Del Rio was quick enough to avoid the Punt Kick, but ate the RKO and got KOed.

In an INTENSE and HIGH IMPACT tag team ladder match, John Cena, Kofi Kingston, William Regal and Drew McIntyre got all of each other...Regal at one point knocked down two ladders with Kofi's limp body, but Cena got the belts after knocking Regal off the ladder! New champions!

Shawn Michaels' replacement for the World Title Match was none other than...BATISTA. Batista took everything Sting had and kept shrugging it off, rolling out of the ring after a Death Drop, powering out of the Deathlock and even getting back up after Sting drove him through the announce table...but Sting did get the pin after a second Death Drop!

Two months after Santino spoiled his Raw dominance, Wade Barrett defeated Edge in an Extreme Rules match to become a two time WWE Champion! After the match, Barrett brutally attacked Edge with a chair!

YEAR ONE

YEAR 2

ROAD TO BACKLASH

WEEK 1

RAW

Raw opened with the debut of new Raw arrival...THE BIG SHOW! Poor Ted DiBiase. DiBiase hit the ring hard and did a lot of damage, but either seemed like he was out to hurt somebody, or wasn't confident enough to go for the pin...and got KOed. Show, to his credit, offered DiBiase a handshake, but was refused.

Triple H was seated at ringside as Sheamus and Big Zeke squared off for a #1 Contender's spot!

It was a hard hitting brawl...and Ezekiel Jackson scored the clean pin!

The Miz found himself in unfriendly territory...in a submission match against Chris Jericho! Miz tried to hang in...but tapped out.

In a Falls Count Anywhere main event, Randy Orton welcomed the newest Raw arrival...Alberto Del Rio! Del Rio charged out of his car and attacked Orton...but Orton countered! Del Rio ran away
to the floor...where he caught Orton with an enzuigiri and a crippling release German Suplex on
the floor for the surprising pin!

SUPERSTARS

Ziggler stormed the ring and attacked Kofi Kingston! As Kofi rallied back, Dolph caught him with a small package out of nowhere!

New refugees from Raw, The Miz and Daniel Bryan, squared off! Daniel Bryan charged the ring and made the fans forget all about his Nexus past as he beat the crap out of the Miz! Miz was on the defensive until CM Punk of all people hit the ring and took Bryan out, allowing Miz to pick up the win!

In a #1 Contender's Match, CM Punk defeated Undertaker and Drew McIntyre after Jack Swagger stormed the ring and caught Undertaker with the Gutwrench Powerbomb! Punk, who was fighting McIntyre on the floor, slid back in the ring and covered Undertaker for the win!

WEEK 2

RAW

New Raw arrival Chavo Guerrero pinned Tyson Kidd in a competitive match!

In a shocker, David Otunga teamed with Raw newcomer Chris Masters to face Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater in a tables match! It got UGLY...with Husky Harris hitting the ring to clean house on Otunga and Masters, but after he left, Otunga and Gabriel got split wide open and Masters managed to drive Slater through a table with an exploder suplex!

The Big Show and The Greatest American Bolo teamed up for the first time ever, taking on Ted DiBiase and his mystery partner...Joe Cothern! However, Cothern never even got in the ring and Big Show knocked DiBiase out.

The Ultimate Opportunist screwed Wade Barrett out of his rematch by beating him in a ladder match! Edge is the #1 Contender for Santino's WWE Title!

SUPERSTARS

The RVD-Mike Knox feud continued with a hard fought match and an RVD win.

Lex Luger gave it his all, but Shinsuke Nakamura shut him down in a brutal bout.

Romero Contreras ruined what should have been an epic Last Man Standing Match by brutally assaulting rival Steve Austin before the bell. After the match, he brutalized Austin with a steel chair.

SMACKDOWN

John Morrison made his triumphant return to Friday Night Smackdown, pinning Cody Rhodes after a brutal running knee!

In a shocking upset, Smackdown newcomer Yoshi Tatsu and Rey Mysterio upset the Tag Team Champions Drew McIntyre and William Regal!

The Christian Coalition (Christian and Kaval) battled the Powerhouse team of David Otunga and Chris Masters in a ladder match. It was a chaotic war that saw Sting get involved as well, but Christian's ladder match experience proved to be too effective.

CM Punk did, perhaps, the unthinkable when he made Sting submit in a Submission Match! Of course, Luke Gallows did jump Sting before the match...and Sting did make Punk tap once when the referee was knocked out...but Punk still got the final win! Punk brutalized Sting after the match, further softening him up for Backlash!

WEEK 3

RAW

Raw opened with Zack Ryder facing new Raw draftee...Intercontinental Champion Kane! Kofi Kingston, not on the Raw roster, bought a ticket to watch Kane from ringside! Kane seemed unusually vicious, even taking a chair to Ryder at one point before putting him away!

Santino and Kozlov fought off the Straight Edge Society, despite the interference of Alex Riley, who got mugged by Kozlov for interfering!

Alberto Del Rio ambushed David Hart Smith from behind to completely squash him.

New Raw recruit Vance Archer jumped Randy Orton from the crowd and even hit his finisher, but he wanted to hurt Orton to send a message...that cost him and he ate an RKO to debut with a loss.

SUPERSTARS

Husky Harrris looked impressive in a victory over Chris Masters.

Ezekiel Jackson watched on with interest as Sheamus and Mark Henry faced off. The referee was staggered and Sheamus went after Henry with a chair, but the referee saw it anyway and gave the win to Henry.

Mike Knox, RVD, Jimmy Snuka, Shelton Benjamin, Terry Funk and Ricky Steamboat met in a battle royal! Funk and Benjamin ganged up on Snuka, while RVD dumped Steamboat. RVD next eliminated his friend Terry Funk! RVD punted his rival Knox off the apron, and then went at it with Benjamin! Shelton ultimately dumped RVD for the win!

SMACKDOWN

Kaval welcomed new Smackdown arrival Chris Jericho...who gave him a Codebreaker for his troubles!

RVD picked up an impressive win over MVP!

HBK ambushed The Undertaker from the crowd and laid him out with multiple Superkicks and put him through a table to win their tables match in his Smackdown debut!

The Miz jumped Raven before their match and the brawl was on! Miz swooped in for the win, but Daniel Bryan got involved, causing a distraction that allowed Raven to hit the Evenflow for the pin! Mike Knox ambushed Raven from behind with a lead pipe!

WEEK 4

RAW

Batista came to the ring not even prepared to wrestle...and lost the Million Dollar Title in shocking fashion to Zack Ryder!

New Raw draft pick Dolph Ziggler teamed with Ted DiBiase and Joe Cothern against The Big Show, The Greatest American Bolo and Shinsuke Nakamura! Ziggler looked particularly impressive, pinning The Big Show after the Zig Zag.

Next up was new Raw pick-up...Terry Funk! He was ambushed on his way to the ring by Wade Barrett, who spiked him with the Wasteland in a squash!

Sheamus demolished Edge as he came to the ring, and hit the High Cross on the floor. Edge fought back, but the damage was too severe, and Sheamus prevailed over the #1 Contender!

SUPERSTARS

Superstars opened with an explosive debut: Booker T! Shad stormed the ring to spoil his return...but Booker tore him down and hit the Ax Kick for the win!

Skip Sheffield made his shocking return...and dominated Mark Henry! Sheffield's return has made Nexus stronger than ever!

In the main event, Vladimir Kozlov, Romero Contreras, Alex Riley, Husky Harris, Chris Masters and Chavo Guerrero faced off in a battle royal! Romero and Chavo worked Kozlov out, while Masters dumped Harris! Romero sent Chavo over the top moments later. Romero threw Riley out, and then he and Masters struggled with each other. Finally, a wicked Exploder over the top rope sent Masters to the floor!

SMACKDOWN

Kofi Kingston opened the show by pinning William Regal with the SOS to become the #1 Contender to the Intercontinental Title!

The Great Muta got some long awaited revenge on Matt Hardy!

Newest Smackdown draftee John Cena came to the ring! Drew McIntyre's music hit...but he jumped Cena from the crowd! Cena rallied back and went for the Attitude Adjustment...but William Regal hit the ring! Cena met him on the floor and they went at it, when Kofi Kingston ran out and ran Regal off! Kofi stood guard as Cena locked on the STF and made Regal tap!

In the main event, World Champion Sting faced off with new Smackdown arrival...Batista! Batista bullied Sting right off, but Sting would not back down! Batista got the upperhand and hit the Batista Bomb...but Sting fired up on him! Batista tried to leave the arena, but Sting caught him on the ramp and they brawled. Batista took out the referee and wiped out Sting with a sledgehammer before hitting him with another Batista Bomb for the pin! After the match, he grabbed a chair and tried to hurt Sting further...when EDGE of all people hit the ring and backed Batista off!

BACKLASH

Kofi Kingston came to the ring to challenge Kane...who jumped him from the crowd! Kane hit a Choke Slam and Kofi BARELY kicked out! Kofi struggled to stay in it...and even got caught with another Choke Slam! However, it was a desperation pin out of nowhere that put Kane down and put the Intercontinental title back on Smackdown!

Ezekiel Jackson ambushed Evan Bourne from behind, hitting the Book of Ezekiel on the US Champion! Bourne somehow managed to stay in it and fought back, but Jackson dominated him!

Bourne changed the complexion of things with a springboard huracanrana and took control, hitting a standing moonsault and the Air Bourne to retain the US Title!

The Greatest Bolo and The Big Show challenged Drew McIntyre and William Regal for the Tag Team Titles, and kept Regal on the defensive most of the match...so it was little surprise when Regal blasted Bolo with a chair, drawing a DQ.

Nexus sent Heath Slater to take the Million Dollar Title from Zack Ryder...and though it was a
good match, Slater was sent back to Nexus a bloody mess!

Santino came to the ring to defend the WWE Title for the first time...against Wade Barrett, Edge and Sheamus in a Fatal Four Way Elimination Match! There were no favorites played and all four men dished out tons of damage to anyone and everyone...but it was Barrett who struck first, pinning Santino with The Wasteland! Sheamus hit the Irish Curse on Edge...but Barrett completely blindsided him for the pin! Edge split Barrett wide open with the WWE Title belt, and Barrett returned the favor with his bare knuckles! With each man a bloody, bloody mess, Edge hit the Spear, but Barrett somehow kicked out! Barrett smacked Edge with the title belt and grabbed some steel chairs, looking to take Edge out with his old classic...when Edge hit another Spear and pinned Barrett to win the WWE Title!

CM Punk jumped Sting from behind before their match, a tactic that failed with Kane and Ezekiel Jackson before him. He fared no better as Sting got revenge for their submission match, making Punk submit to the Scorpion Deathlock!

John Cena and Shawn Michaels had a tremendous match that ended with the Attitude Adjustment on HBK!

Edge stormed the ring against Batista, hit the Implant DDT and the Spear! Edge is the #1 Contender to Wade Barrett's title at WrestleMania!

Goldust and Kozlov had an EPIC opening match that ended with the Final Cut. Kozlov refused a post match handshake.

Sheamus jumped Ezekiel Jackson before their Triple Threat with The Greatest American Bolo, weakening him dramatically! The match was mostly Bolo vs Sheamus, but when Bolo hit the American Revolution on Big Zeke, Sheamus tossed him out of the ring and pinned Jackson! Sheamus is the #1 Contender to the US Title!

Triple H and David Otunga squared off...and as Hunter had the upperhand, Husky Harris ran in! Triple H prepared to fight...but Harris wiped out Otunga! Triple H was handed the win! Wade Barrett and Nexus informed Otunga that he was out...and that Barrett was back in charge!

Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater triumphed over Alex Riley and The Miz in a Ladder Match!

Wade Barrett called down a steel cage...to take on...the Conquistador? The Conquistador held his until he caught Barrett out of nowhere with a spear! And then a second one! Then he went to the corner and hunkered down, calling for Barrett to stand up...as the crowd chanted Spear! He nailed Barrett and pinned the WWE Champion! He unmasked to reveal EDGE!

Superstars

Mike Knox jumped former partner Raven before their extreme rules match...but we got a bit of an extreme revolution when RVD ran in and helped Raven take Knox out!

Santino, Daniel Bryan and Vladimir Kozlov wrestled a GREAT match...until WWE Champion Wade Barrett hit the ring to help out his Nexus stablemate, hitting Wastelands on Santino and Kozlov! He probably left too early, as Santino and Kozlov ultimately joined forces and laid out Bryan, with Santino pinning Bryan after the Cobra!

Keeping the "extreme" theme of the night, Kofi Kingston put the Hardcore Title on the line in an Extreme Rules match against Cody Rhodes, Christian and Luke Gallows! Gallows kicked it off quickly, jumping Rhodes from the crowd! Rhodes, however, seemed to blame his partner Christian! As they came to blows, Kofi took advantage and blasted Rhodes with Trouble in Paradise for a quick elimination! As Christian taunted Cody, he turned around into a suplex by Kofi for the pin! Kofi and Gallows went to the floor, and Kofi hit the SOS for the pin! After the match, Kofi offered his hand to Christian...but Christian shockingly slapped it away!

SMACKDOWN

Shad Gaspard jumped The Rock before their match began, but Rock beat him down and put him away with the People's Elbow!

Thanks to a prematch assault from the crowd, Vance Archer was able to take down Chavo Guerrero.

Despite a prematch attack, Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov shocked William Regal and Drew McIntyre by beating them in a non title match via submission!

Christian showed a newfound aggression as he fought Sting in a non-title match...even drawing first blood! Sting fired back up as Kaval hit the ring...and wiped out Sting!! Sting still tried to hang on...but ate the Killswitch as Christian picked up possibly the biggest win of his career!

Week 3

RAW

Miz cheated his way to victory over Mark Henry, with Ezekiel Jackson watching from the crowd.

John Morrison and Joe Cothern awaited R-Truth and his mystery partner...and seemed to take it in stride when he came out with David Hart Smith! Morrison demolished his former partner.

#1 Contenders collided as Edge faced Alberto Del Rio in a submission match! Del Rio took out the referee and took a sledgehammer to Edge, but Sting ran down and woke the referee up in time to see Del Rio attacking Edge, getting Del Rio DQed!

Shawn Michaels defeated Triple H in a brutal, career threatening Hell in a Cell match!

SUPERSTARS

RVD pinned Mike Knox in an Extreme Rules match!

Santino and Kozlov pulled it out once more, toppling the Straight Edge Society!

Kofi Kingston, Kane and Drew McIntyre faced off, but William Regal ran in and turned it almost into a tag match. However, once Regal took off, Kofi took advantage and pinned McIntyre!

SMACKDOWN

Luke Gallows ambushed Cody Rhodes during his match with MVP (accompanied by Alberto Del Rio), allowing MVP to pick up the win after a sneak attack!

William Regal shanghaied The Big Show, but still got crushed by the big man!

Santino and Kozlov managed to defeat Alex Riley and The Miz in a Falls Count Anywhere match!

As Sting prepared to face Wade Barrett in an epic Champion vs Champion match, Justin Gabriel attacked Sting and rammed him into the ringsteps! Sting fought back, but Barrett reduced him to a bloody mess and scored a huge pinfall!

Zack Ryder fended off Joe Cothern's interference to pin Ted DiBiase!

Mike Knox was accompanied by Alberto Del Rio as he took on Rob Van Dam, who had Raven in his corner! After Raven was ejected, Knox took advantage and pinned Van Dam!

Santino and Vladimir Kozlov were jumped by William Regal and CM Punk for some reason, but STILL beat Alex Riley and The Miz!

Sting assisted Cody Rhodes as Cody battled Luke Gallows...fending off CM Punk so Rhodes could pick up the win!

Ricky Steamboat triumphed in a great match with The Great Muta!

Kofi Kingston battled Kane one more time, picking up the win after Trouble in Paradise, though no titles were on the line.

Sting and Edge teamed up for the first time ever to battle Wade Barrett and Alberto Del Rio...and Batista came down to get in Edge's face! Sting and Batista came to blows, and Edge pinned Barrett after the spear!

Santino Marella got his WrestleMania moment by beating Ezekiel Jackson, David Otunga, MVP, Rob Van Dam and Vance Archer in order to become Mr. Money in the Bank!

William Regal and Drew McIntyre outlasted the Straight Edge Society to retain the Unified Tag Team Titles!

Evan Bourne bloodied rival Sheamus in a Last Man Standing Match before crushing him with the Air Bourne to retain the US Title! After the match, Ezekiel Jackson came out to threaten Bourne!

Wade Barrett triumphed over Edge...only to be greeted by Santino and his Money in the Bank briefcase!! Santino cashed in and beat Barrett with the Cobra!!

Jack Swagger came to the ring to break...THE STREAK. The Undertaker's full theatrics began...but he stormed the ring and laid into Swagger! He went for the Tombstone, but Swagger slipped out and unloaded on him until he walked into the Choke Slam! The Last Ride followed, putting Swagger down! The Streak lives!

Alberto Del Rio jumped Sting from the crowd and locked on the Flying Armbar, but Sting was in the ropes! Del Rio had a counter for everything at first, but Sting's years of experience kicked in! He wore Del Rio down and locked him in the Scorpion Death Lock, making Del Rio tap!! Ted DiBiase agreed to defend the Million Dollar Title against Chris Jericho...and then jumped him from the crowd. When Jericho had Dream Street scouted, DiBiase took the title and smashed Jericho with it.

Justin Gabriel held his own against the power of David Hart Smith, pinning him after the 450 Splash.

As new WWE Champion Wade Barrett faced off with Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match, Husky Harris sat at ringside! They collided once more...and Triple H was on fire...until Shawn Michaels ran in...and wiped Hunter out! Barrett gave Triple H a Conchairto, and then hit the Wasteland on the floor to put Triple H down!

Shelton Benjamin shot down Mike Knox again with the Paydirt.

John Morrison jumped R-Truth before their match and pinned R-Truth after a brutal running knee.

Husky Harris got MUGGED as Romero Contreras, Shinsuke Nakamura and The Greatest American Bolo isolated him and took turns hitting signatures and finishers on him! Bolo pinned him after the Snapshot.

SMACKDOWN

Luke Gallows jumped Cody Rhodes before the match and hit the Gallows Pole to put him away in seconds!

Drew McIntyre violently attacked Kofi Kingston as he came out to face William Regal, but Kofi managed to catch Regal with the SOS to score the win!

Rey Mysterio dominated Vance Archer.

In a match with Elimination Chamber implications, Jack Swagger beat Drew McIntyre inside of a steel cage!

WEEK 2

RAW

The Miz faced off with Zack Ryder, who had R-Truth at ringside. Miz took the cheap way out by proving R-Truth, getting Ryder DQed!

Wade Barrett seated at ringside must have gotten into Triple H's head as he faced off with John Morrison. Morrison scored one of the biggest wins of his career with the Moonlight Drive!

Husky Harris jumped Romero before their match, but could not put him down. Romero used some trickery as he took the ref down, and went after Husky with a chair, but got caught! Husky walked away with a DQ win!

Shawn Michaels showed off his new cheating ways with John Cena, including taking out the ref and kicking a chair into Cena's face...but it was still the Superkick that did the deed. However, the match got restarted as a submission match, and nothing Michaels could do was enough...so he smashed Cena with a ring bell and walked away!

SUPERSTARS

RVD opened the show with an impressive win over Mike Knox.

Husky Harris should have been absolutely screwed in a Triple Threat against Romero Contreras and The Greatest American Bolo...especially when it got turned into a Falls Count Anywhere match. However, Bolo and Romero began to break apart, and things got really bad when Daniel Bryan ran in and inflicted considerable damage on both men, allowing Harris to pin Romero while Bryan and Bolo fought on the floor!

To the dismay of the fans, William Regal and Drew McIntyre beat Kane and The Undertaker in a ladder match!

Kofi Kingston demolished Shad.

Rey Mysterio, Terry Funk, JTG, Raven, Alberto Del Rio and Matt Hardy faced off in a six way challenge! Raven was the first elimination, at the hands of Rey Mysterio! Matt Hardy pinned Terry Funk next! Del Rio made JTG tap to the Flying Armbar, leaving three! Del Rio caught Hardy and pinned him, then took out Mysterio to win the match!

WEEK 3

RAW

In a shocking upset, The Greatest American Bolo pinned Ted DiBiase to win the Million Dollar Title while John Morrison and The Miz were brawling on the floor!

Ezekiel Jackson picked up a huge win over Evan Bourne after a brutal pre-match attack!

Daniel Bryan jumped Mark Henry before their match, but Henry fought back! The ref got bumped and Bryan went after Henry with a chair...while Ezekiel Jackson ran in and beat him down as well! Bryan made Henry tap out after all of that!

Edge went Spear crazy in a Triple Threat match, pinning Batista and Sheamus, and putting his tag team partner Wade Barrett firmly in his sights!

SUPERSTARS

Rob Van Dam has taken Shelton Benjamin's place against Mike Knox on Superstars, and got a DQ win after Knox refused to break a choke hold.

Despite a brutal pre-match assault by William Regal, Kofi Kingston rebounded and gave him Trouble in Paradise for the win!

Husky Harris, Vladimir Kozlov, Romero Contreras and Steve Austin squared off! It was a real slobberknocker, with Greatest American Bolo getting involved and attacking Harris, and Romero cleaning house and pinning Harris to pick up the win!

SMACKDOWN

Rey Mysterio and Dolph Ziggler had a great match. When the referee ejected Matt Hardy from ringside, Rey it the Hurricanrana, but Ziggler reversed it into a pin of his own for the win!

Dolph Ziggler came down for commentary as Kane and Drew McIntyre squared off in a #1 Contender's Match! The match was Falls Count Anywhere, and it spilled to the floor, where Kane and Ziggler had words! McIntyre grabbed a chair and was about to take Kane out, when Undertaker mysteriously appeared! This gave Kane his opening to hit the Choke Slam!

Alberto Del Rio took a cheap countout on Finlay!

Sting and Kaval looked great against the Straight Edge Society and The Great Muta, with Kaval scoring a big pin on Gallows after the Warrior's Way!

WEEK 4

Sheamus jumped Zack Ryder before a Triple Threat with Ezekiel Jackson, but Jackson prevailed, pinning Sheamus to become the #1 Contender to the US title!

Greatest American Bolo retained the Million Dollar Title in an Extreme Rules Match against Ted DiBiase!

Edge and Wade Barrett jumped Sting and Kaval before their match, and you would have thought Barrett and Sting were blood rivals with the way they DESTROYED each other. Triple H got involved and allowed Sting to finally let Kaval in, but Edge speared Kaval and took him the win.

In a Six Pack Challenge, Batista, The Miz, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho and John Cena faced off! Early on, Cena drew blood on Batista, but it was Jericho that truly struck first, eliminating HBK with the Codebreaker! The Miz stunned Cena with the Skull Crushing Finale for the elimination! Batista pinned The Miz after the Batista Bomb, and Jericho caught Orton with the Codebreaker, leaving two men left! Batista tapped to the Walls of Jericho moments later!

SUPERSTARS

Romero and The Greatest American Bolo took on Raven and Mike Knox! As Bolo and Romero dominated Raven, he backed to the corner...where Mike Knox laid him out! Bolo hit the American Revolution on the stunned Raven!

Alex Riley picked up his most impressive win to date over David Hart Smith.

Kofi Kingston was at an extreme disadvantage in a Triple Threat with William Regal and Drew McIntyre, although Christian was in the audience trying to get under their skin! Predictably, they could not agree on who should get the pin and Kofi took advantage...but the REAL game changer was when Shad came out and attacked Kingston...and wound up going after McIntyre as well! Kofi hit the SOS on Drew for the win!

SMACKDOWN

William Regal was impressively brutal in victory over Christian in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.

Drew McIntyre put up a good fight, but Big Show knocked him clean out.

Rey Mysterio, Chris Masters and The Rock took on Dolph Ziggler, Matt Hardy and The Great Muta! A shocking moment occured when Muta tried to tag Hardy, who walked away, leaving Ziggler and Muta to fend for themselves! Muta at The Rock Bottom for the pin!

Undertaker was ALL OVER Jack Swagger, and even when Swagger started to come back, Chris Masters ran in and took out both men in a shocker! Once they recovered, Swagger knew he was losing it, and took a DQ instead, smashing Undertaker with the ring bell!

ELIMINATION CHAMBER

In the opener, Drew McIntyre and William Regal had a great match with CM Punk and Luke Gallows, ending with Regal pinning Gallows with his feet on the ropes to win the Tag Team Titles! After the match, CM Punk walked out on Gallows!

Ezekiel Jackson jumped Evan Bourne before their US title match, but Bourne desperately fought back! Bourne rallied and hit the Shooting Star Press to retain his belt! Bourne offered Jackson his hand post-match, but Jackson refused!

Bolo did everything he possibly could, but Batista killed him to win the Million Dollar Title!

Sting fended off Undertaker and Jack Swagger, pinning Swagger to keep his belt!

The Intercontinental title Elimination Chamber kicked off with Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio! Dolph Ziggler was in next, and it was on! Alberto Del Rio was in next, and Kofi caught Dolph with the Boom Drop before taking Rey's head off with the Trouble in Paradise to eliminate him! Kane entered next and tore apart everyone! Christian came in last, and it was on! Kofi caught Dolph with SOS and ensured that there must be a new IC Champion! Kane put out Del Rio while Kofi pinned Christian...setting up Kane vs Kofi! Kane brutalized Kofi...and scored the big win!

Shinsuke Nakamura and Edge opened the WWE Title Elimination Chamber! Wade Barrett came in next, and looked bad for Nakamura. Triple H entered, as Winds of Change came to blows! John Cena came in next, while one had yet been eliminated. Shawn Michaels came in last, and the Chamber was chaotic! In a shocking move, Barrett hit the Wasteland on Triple H....but HBK made the save! John Cena and HBK got taken out almost back to back, leaving four! The Ultimate Opportunist was shocked when his own partner hit The Wasteland and scored the pin! Triple H ate the Wasteland, leaving Barrett and Nakamura! Barrett opened Nakamura up and hit Wasteland for the pin!

RAW

Ezekiel Jackson looked dominant, taking out David Hart Smith.

Undertaker and Kane vs Yoshi Tatsu and Tyson Kidd in a Tables Match went pretty much as you would
expect, with Undertaker putting Kidd through a table.

Evan Bourne defeated The Miz in a hard fought match with Air Bourne.

Wade Barrett triumphed over Triple H and Sheamus in a Triple Threat Tables match that also saw Chris Jericho get involved and attack both Barrett and Triple H!

SUPERSTARS

Shelton Benjamin proved he can win when the odds are even, pinning Mike Knox.

John Cena faced Vladimir Kozlov with HBK in the crowd. David Otunga tried to get involved, but Triple H intervened and Cena made Kozlov tap.

Husky Harris, Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel looked dominant against Santino Marella, The Greatest American Bolo and Zack Ryder, with Slater pinning Santino.

SMACKDOWN

William Regal pinned Big Show in a colossal victory, but the match was restarted as a Falls Count Anywhere Match! Regal used the Power of the Punch and the Knee Trembler to drop The Big Show!

Rey Mysterio had to work for it a bit, but he pinned Vance Archer.

Cody Rhodes and Christian vs Ted DiBiase and John Morrison mostly turned into Rhodes vs DiBiase! William Regal came out to cause a distraction, but Christian ran him off and Rhodes pinned DiBiase with the Silver Spoon DDT!

In a bit of a Royal Rumble preview, World Champion Sting, Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler, Tag Champion CM Punk, Kane, Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston squared off in a battle royal! Drew went right after Kofi and eliminated him, while Kane and Punk brawled, and Dolph took Sting down! Drew threw out his second competitor, dumping Punk! Kane shockingly eliminated Sting! Drew dumped Dolph, leaving him and Kane! And Kane eliminates McIntyre for the win!

WEEK 2

RAW

John Morrison jumped Mark Henry before their match, and used his speed to stay out his reach, hitting Starship Pain for the win. R-Truth came out and ruined Morrison's celebration!

Primo's speed kept him in the game against Romero Contreras, but the Kool-Aid Krunch did put him away. Romero offered Primo a handshake and was refused.

Zack Ryder would have been completely outnumbered against Ted DiBiase, Sheamus and The Miz in a Fatal Four Way, but those three almost hate each other as much as they do anyone else. The match raged on chaotically, and Chris Jericho once more got involved, attacking both Sheamus and Miz! Miz was pinning Sheamus while DiBiase was covering Ryder, but Sheamus kicked out while Ryder stayed down! DiBiase is the #1 Contender to the US Title!

In another Rumble preview, Triple H entered a battle royal with Batista, Wade Barrett, Edge, John Cena and Shawn Michaels! The biggest news was Barrett nearly eliminated Edge right off! Cena went out first, at the hands of Batista, and Barrett dumped HBK. Triple H sent Edge out as Batista eliminated Barrett, and Batista clashed with the WWE Champion before throwing him out!

SUPERSTARS

Raven tried to play mind games from the crowd, but Shelton Benjamin stayed focused and pinned Mike Knox with the Exploder.

Joe Cothern stormed the ring early on, and took Evan Bourne by surprise! Evan fought back, but the hard hitting style of The Mucker was too much, and the US Champion ultimately dropped before Cothern!

Jack Swagger came to the ring with Alberto Del Rio in tow! So Cody Rhodes accompanied Christian to the ring, while Dolph Ziggler watched from the crowd! Swagger was a little ticked about that whole losing the title to Sting thing, and took it out on Christian. Del Rio and Swagger cheated, and ultimately got Rhodes ejected. Swagger finished Christian off moments later.

SMACKDOWN

Justin Gabriel took a seat at ringside, while William Regal and Cody Rhodes squared off in a Submission match! It turned into much more of a brawl than expected, and both men did a ton of damage. Christian got involved, but was sent to the back, and Regal ultimately put Rhodes out with a sleeper.

Chris Masters came out to give Kofi Kingston back-up, as CM Punk had Luke Gallows in tow! Kofi wound up knocking Punk flush out with the Trouble in Paradise! Drew McIntyre wiped Kofi out with a lead pipe after the match!

Sting and Kaval got jumped by The Straight Edge Society as they came to the ring to take on Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater in a Ladder Match! The damage done by the Straight Edge Society, combined with the speed of Gabriel and Slater led to victory for Nexus!

In the main event, Kane wiped out MVP in the Parking Lot to claim the Hardcore Title!

WEEK 3

RAW

With R-Truth at ringside, getting into Morrison's head, John Morrison faced Zack Ryder (with Greatest American Bolo at ringside). Morrison was well on his way to victory when Ryder got DQed after Morrison provoked Bolo into hitting him.

Chris Jericho looked cocky as he came to the ring to face Ted DiBiase in a Falls Count Anywhere match, even with Wade Barrett in the crowd and Joe Cothern at ringside. However, The Miz ALSO got involved, and the whole thing was FAR too much for Jericho, who fell prey to Dream Steet!

Alex Riley and The Miz ambushed Sting and Kaval before their tag team tables match, but could not put them away. As Sting and Kaval were getting the upperhand, CM Punk ran out and took Sting out. However, Kaval got Punk and nailed the Warrior's Way, allowing Sting to fire up and put Miz through a table!

Wade Barrett and Triple H went at it in another crazy brawl...and as they were both jockeying for the upperhand, Husky Harris hit the ring and attacked both men! As both men recovered, Barrett managed to hit a backdrop driver for the pin!

SUPERSTARS

Romero and The Greatest American Bolo met Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater in a tag match that went south when Husky Harris got involved and Romero got DQed for throwing chairs around the ring.

Ezekiel Jackson tried to take out Mark Henry as he battled Yoshi Tatsu, but failed. Tatsu was crushed with a bearhug. Henry offered Tatsu a handshake, but was refused.

The Great Muta, Mike Knox, Shelton Benjamin, Rob Van Dam, Terry Funk and Chris Masters competed
in a battle royal! Funk went first, and Shelton eliminated Masters. Knox eliminated RVD, leaving Shelton in there with Knox and Muta! Shelton and Muta worked together to dump Knox! Shelton ultimately prevailed, dumping Muta!

SMACKDOWN

Kane gave Raven a shot at the Hardcore Title...and then crushed him.

MVP jumped Rey Mysterio before the match and hit the Play of the Day, but refused to go for the pin! That cost him as Rey hit the 619 and a Springboard Splash for the win.

William Regal and Drew McIntyre used every dirty trick in the book AND interference from Wade Barrett to beat DX and become the new #1 Contenders to the Tag Team Titles!

Undertaker managed to topple Jack Swagger in a steel cage match!

WEEK 4

RAW

The Falls Count Anywhere stipulation meant nothing as Ezekiel Jackson jumped Mark Henry before the bell and spiked him for the pin. After the match, he brutalized Mark Henry with a chair!

Alex Riley, The Miz, Chris Jericho and The Greatest American Bolo met in a Fatal Four Way! Jericho was dominating, when Wade Barrett came in and attacked him with the Wasteland! Ultimately, Bolo wound up pinning a wounded Miz to score a MASSIVE upset!

Zack Ryder hit the ring and destroyed Daniel Bryan!

In a hard hitting brawl, Wade Barrett pinned Sheamus to become #1 Contender AGAIN.

SUPERSTARS

Mike Knox wiped out Rob Van Dam before their match and used that advantage to finish him off!

John Cena made short work of Tyson Kidd.

Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio handed Cody Rhodes and Christian a crushing loss.

SMACKDOWN

Smackdown opened with a battle royal that saw MVP eat the floor first. Shad dumped Dolph Ziggler as Kofi dropkicked JTG out of the ring! Kofi went on a mad tear, sending Shad out and then Shelton Benjamin to win!

Luke Gallows fought as hard as he could, but The Big Show devastated him! Show offered him a handshake after the match, but Gallows refused!

Drew McIntyre's and Christian's rivalry got the better of them, and Kane took advantage to pin Christian and become the #1 Contender to the Intercontinental Title!

Sting made CM Punk tap out in the main event! After the match, Justin Gabriel came out on the ramp and gave Sting a warning!

ROYAL RUMBLE

Evan Bourne looked impressive, pinning Ted DiBiase to retain the US title in the opening match! Bourne tried to be a good sport, but DiBiase refused.

Dolph Ziggler managed to cut Kane's knees out from under him and hit the Zig Zag to retain the IC Title!

Randy Orton squared off with Alex Riley! Miz ran out, but ate an RKO! Riley got one as well!

Sting had to defend the World title against Jack Swagger, The Undertaker and Drew McIntyre! And Drew came out of the crowd, wiping out Swagger! Sting drew blood on the Undertaker, and Swagger and Undertaker took most of the damage. In fact, Sting pinned Undertaker after a McIntyre Future Shock!

William Regal took a seat in the front row as Wade Barrett and Triple H squared off! Wade Barrett finally fulfilled his destiny, pinning Triple H with the Wasteland after making use of an exposed turnbuckle!

Ezekiel Jackson, with a little assistance from Joe Cothern, destroyed R-Truth in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.

Even though Miz jumped Jericho as he came down the ramp, Chris Jericho reduced him to a bloody mess before beating him in a Tables Match.

Randy Orton hit the ring on fire, taking it to Lex Luger! He gave Luger the Orton Stomp and then the RKO! Orton actually offered Luger his hand post-match, but Luger refused!

Lex Luger tried to remain relevant by buying a ringside seat for Wade Barrett versus Triple H. Despite distractions by Shawn Michaels, Wade Barrett took everything Triple H could fire at him and pinned him!

SUPERSTARS

Ted DiBiase stormed the ring to attack Goldust, but Goldust fought him off and hit Shattered Dreams for the win! Goldust offered DiBiase a chance to shake his hand, but apparently being kicked in the nuts left a bad taste in DiBiase's mouth.

Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio did their level best to destroy Kane, but he took advantage of a big mistake and pinned Del Rio!

Althouggh Santino and Shinsuke Nakamura were ostensibly outnumbered, they went right after David Otunga, Daniel Bryan, Vladimir Kozlov and Joe Cothern in a battle royal! Santino eliminated Daniel Bryan as Nakamura dumped Otunga! Cothern went next at Nakamura's hands, while Santino and Nakamura teamed up on Kozlov! Then Nakamura eliminated Santino for the win.

SMACKDOWN

William Regal and Dolph Ziggler jumped Cody Rhodes and Christian before their match with Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater, but Rhodes and Christian still came out on top after Gabriel ate a Killswitch and the Cross Rhodes!

As Kofi Kingston prepared to face Drew McIntyre, Drew stormed the ring! He beat Kofi down and hit the Scot Drop, but kept attacking! Kofi never got out of first gear as he fell prey to the Angry Scot!

Rey Mysterio, Big Show, Terry Funk, William Regal, Vance Archer and Shad Gaspard did battle in a Battle Royal! Despite a three on one attempt, Shad held on, and Regal wound up eliminating Vance first. Funk shockingly dumped Big Show, and then Regal tossed out Rey while Funk eliminated Shad! Funk and Regal went at it for several more minutes before Regal threw Funk out!

Mark Henry and David Hart Smith beat the Straight Edge Society in a very brutal Extreme Rules match after Henry crushed Punk with the World's Strongest Slam!

WEEK 2

RAW

Ted DiBiase put the Million Dollar Title on the line against David Hart Smith, who tore him apart! Tyson Kidd was in the crowd, getting into Smith's head, but ultimately it was heel chicanery by DiBiase that allowed him to lock on a sleeperhold and put Smith out.

Wade Barrett pinned WWE Champion Triple H in seconds after an ambush from the crowd!

Cody Rhodes and Christian prepared to face Tyson Kidd and Yoshi Tatsu in a Tables Match, when Justin Gabriel and Dolph Ziggler attacked them on the floor! Kidd and Tatsu tried to capitalize on it, but fell short, with Rhodes and Christian picking up the win!

In the main event, Sheamus battled Shawn Michaels in a tremendous Tables match...as Sheamus was wearing HBK down, Husky Harris came to the ring with a chair! As Harris entered the ring, Sheamus spiked Michaels through the table with Pale Justice, but we never learned what Harris was there for!

SUPERSTARS

Mike Knox ambushed Chris Masters from the crowd and pinned him in seconds!

Vladimir Kozlov attacked his former friend Santino from the crowd, but Santino would not die! He blasted Kozlov with The Cobra to put the giant Russian down!

Thought Miz and Alex Riley held in the match a while, it was basically just getting destroyed by Undertaker and Kane, even with CM Punk's help.

SMACKDOWN

Rey Mysterio shocked Tag Team Champion Luke Gallows!

Drew McIntyre ambushed The Big Show before their match, but The Big Show still made him work for it. Both men gave everything they had, and even Kofi Kingston got involved to keep Drew from cheating, but a GIGANTIC Michinoku Driver by Drew scored the pin!

Raven defeated Rob Van Dam, Terry Funk and Vance Archer in a crazy Extreme Rules match to win the newly recommissioned Hardcore title after pinned Terry Funk with the Evenflow on the floor!

Sting squared off with CM Punk in a #1 Contender's Match, but Punk stormed the ring before the match! Kaval came down to make sure there was no interference as Sting fought back, and Sting pinned Punk after a flying splash off the top rope! As Sting celebrated, a lead pipe weilding Gallows hit the ring and laid Sting and Kaval out!

WEEK 3

RAW

All week long, WWE is broadcasting from Tribute for the Troops!

Mark Henry crushed Ezekiel Jackson with a bearhug in a slow motion Falls Count Anywhere!

The Greatest American Bolo stormed the ring to take on Husky Harris! Harris bailed out to avoid the American Revolution, and got some licks in on Bolo. Ultimately, Bolo prevailed with the Snapshot!

Lex Luger has a SURPRISE for DX in a Tables Match...mystery partner PRIMO. After DX stopped laughing, the match began and Luger and Primo actually did alright...until Randy Orton ran in and gave Luger the RKO! Triple H spiked Primo through a table to end the match.

Sheamus and Wade Barrett faced off in a #1 Contender's Match, and Barrett dominated Sheamus, scoring a fairly easy pin...until the match was restarted as a Submission Match! Sheamus was on fire and the whole thing was intense, with Barrett even drawing blood on Sheamus. Barrett focused on Sheamus' back and ribs and ultimately made him submit to an abdominal stretch!

SUPERSTARS

David Otunga, perhaps bravely, came through the troops to attack Cena! He even hit his spinebuster, but that just made the match even, and Cena ultimately hit his top rope Rocker Dropper, Five Knuckle Shuffle, Attitude Adjustment and the STF for the win. Cena offered his hand to Otunga, who refused.

Chris Masters teamed with WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka to take on William Regal and Drew McIntyre! Unfortunately for them, Snuka was never allowed in the ring, and Regal and McIntyre DISMANTLED Masters for the win.

Ted DiBiase put the Million Dollar Title on the line against R-Truth, accompanied by Evan Bourne! John Morrison was lurking in the crowd! Even Evan at ringside couldn't stop DiBiase, who busted R-Truth open and beat him.

SMACKDOWN

Undertaker had a surprise for The Straight Edge Society...Terry Funk! Unfortunately, Funk's a little hardcore, and got DQed.

Dolph Ziggler did commentary as Christian faced Jack Swagger in a Falls Count Anywhere match! Christian got a HUGE win thanks to The Big Show running down and clocking Swagger with a sledgehammer! After the match, Drew McIntyre beat Christian down with a lead pipe!

Dolph Ziggler continued to build his momentum with a great victory over Kofi Kingston.

Raven outlasted Rey Mysterio, Shelton Benjamin, Finlay, Vance Archer and Mike Knox in a Six Pack Challenge. Raven even put his own partner down, and after the match, went after Shelton Benjamin to inflict more damage!

WEEK 4

RAW

In the opening match, John Morrison and Ted DiBiase faced off with R-Truth in a handicap match. Goldust came down to get involved, but DiBiase attacked him! Morrison put R-Truth away. Post-match, Morrison kept up his assault on his former partner.

Evan Bourne met Zack Ryder and The Miz in a #1 Contender's Match for the US Title! It was crazy action, and John Morrison came down and wiped out Ryder with a chair! Bourne put Miz away with a huracanrana for the win!

Batista pinned John Cena after a shocking sneak attack!

Wade Barrett and Triple H collided in an EPIC Iron Man match, destroying many chairs and reducing both men to bloody messes...even had some Chris Jericho interference, before ending in a draw.

SUPERSTARS

Chris Jericho made Yoshi Tatsu tap to the Walls of Jericho. As he celebrated, The Miz came out and taunted him from the ramp!

In a surprisingly hard hitting match, Santino stopped Joe Cothern with The Cobra! He offered Cothern a handshake post-match, but Cothern refused.

Shelton Benjamin fought hard, but could not topple Raven and Mike Knox in a handicap match.

SMACKDOWN

Matt Hardy stormed the ring to attack Christian before their match, but Christian was unfazed and put him down.

Undertaker and Kane got punished by William Regal and Drew McIntyre, but prevailed after Kane cleaned house off of a hot tag and pinned Regal with a Choke Slam!

Mark Henry and David Hart Smith seemed to have words before taking on The Straight Edge Society, and that clearly cost them as Gallows and Punk dominated them before Gallows pinned Henry.

Jack Swagger beat Sting in a non-title Falls Count Anywhere match after timely intervention by CM Punk!

TLC

Evan Bourne snuck away with the US title after Sheamus stormed the ring attacking him and hitting Pale Justice on Ryder...but Bourne sent Sheamus out of the ring and pinned Ryder!

Dolph Ziggler failed to repeat Evan Bourne's feat, but tried...but he did still outlast Drew McIntyre and Christian, pinning Christian after the Zig Zag. Ziggler brutally attacked Christian with a chair after the match!

While Raven brawled with Kaval and Shelton Benjamin, MVP managed to climb the ladder and win the Hardcore title in a TLC match!

Ted DiBiase and John Morrison had words before their Tag Title Match with the Straight Edge Society, and Punk and Gallows proved you HAVE to be on the same page to defeat them, retaining in dominant fashion.

Sting somehow outlasted Jack Swagger and The Undertaker in a TLC match, despite taking the Tombstone and the Gutwrench Powerbomb! Sting ended Swagger's reign that has lasted since Backlash!

Wade Barrett jumped a heavily bandaged Triple H from the crowd, but got too cocky in their TLC match, and Triple H managed to get the WWE Title down!

Though the "year" is technically over, the WWE "Year" runs three more months: Through Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania.

ROAD TO SURVIVOR SERIES

WEEK 1

RAW

Evan Bourne looked very impressive in a victory over Ted DiBiase!

DX faced The New Superpowers in a colossal cage match! HBK escaped first, leaving Triple H to battle Luger and Kozlov, which eventually gave Kozlov an opening to escape. Triple H ultimately prevailed, leaving Luger a bloody mess.

Tyson Kidd and Yoshi Tatsu came out to take on David Hart Smith and a mystery parter in a Falls Count Anywhere Match...Kidd and Tatsu were stunned when MARK HENRY came out! The action was wild, and got crazier when John Morrison got involved, helping out Smith and Henry! Henry crushed Kidd with the World's Strongest Slam.

In a #1 Contender's Match, Wade Barrett, Edge and Sheamus squared off. Barrett and Edge didn't allow their partnership to get in the way, and it went into a bloody brawl, with Sheamus and Edge both gushing blood. Chris Jericho ran in, and while Barrett - who had been in charge most of the match - was trying to avoid a fired up Jericho, Sheamus pinned Edge!

SUPERSTARS

Raven ambushed Shelton Benjamin before the bell! Shelton fought back, but got dropped with the Evenflow DDT!

Chris Jericho stayed about two steps ahead of Daniel Bryan, and pinned him with a small package, all while Wade Barrett watched on from the crowd.

In the Superstars main event, Zack Ryder battled Tyson Kidd. As Ryder was setting up The Zack Attack, The Miz ran out and got involved! Ryder and Miz exchanged blows, and The Miz got the worst of it! Ryder fought Kidd off and put him away to send the fans home happy!

SMACKDOWN

Kane and Luke Gallows opened the show in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. As these two behemoths brawled, Rob Van Dam ran out and interjected himself! He seemed focused on Gallows, but he and Kane had a run-in...however, Kane pinned Gallows after RVD his his Five Star Frog Splash!

Alberto Del Rio couldn't make Big Show tap out, but he was able to wear him down enough to pin him off of a flying senton!

Shad jumped Kofi Kingston before their match, but failed to capitalize. He used his power to beat Kofi down, but Kofi's speed was too much, and a Boom Drop followed by the SOS took it home.

The crowd was ELECTRIC for the main event, a #1 Contender's Match between CM Punk and Sting! Sting held off Punk and made him tap out to the Scorpion Death Lock...when the match was ordered to be re-started as a Falls Count Anywhere match! Sting and Punk brawled in and around the ring, and Luke Gallows came out of the crowd with a chair! Sting tried to fight off both men...when Kaval ran out! He brawled to the back with Gallows as Sting press slammed Punk through one announce table, then hit a diving elbow off the top through the second to score the decisive win!

WEEK 2

RAW

Evan Bourne stunned one Vladimir Kozlov to pick up another huge win!

Shawn Michaels had to fend off Vladimir Kozlov's interference, but he schooled Lex Luger in a Ladder Match!

Despite The Brothers of Destruction dealing out massive amounts of damage to Wade Barrett and Edge, Barrett still retrieved the briefcase to win a ladder match.

Sheamus attacked Triple H as he made his way down the ramp, getting their submission match off to an auspicious start. Triple H rallied back and brawled on the floor...but Lex Luger ran out and took him down! This put Triple H at a huge advantage, and Sheamus gained a ton of momentum as he wore Hunter down and ultimately won this non-title match! He tried to cripple Hunter after the match, but HBK ran out and ran Sheamus off!

SUPERSTARS

Steve Austin beat David Otunga bloody en route to a decisive win. Austin surprisingly offered Otunga his hand...Otunga, perhaps wisely, didn't take it.

Shelton Benjamin's superior speed allowed him to sneak past MVP and Raven in a handicap match! Benjamin tried to make nice with Raven, but Raven refused.

In a crazy main event, John Morrison had Daniel Bryan on the ropes when Justin Gabriel ran in...and Vladimir Kozlov came out of the crowd and brawled with Gabriel! Morrison scored the pin.

SMACKDOWN

Kane and Drew McIntyre fought in a great opener, with Kane dropping Drew with the Choke Slam.

Despite a pre-match assault by the Straight Edge Society, The Winds of Change beat Gallows and Punk when Edge pinned Gallows while Barrett hammered Punk with a chair.

Chris Masters hit the ring hard to take Great Muta down early, but Muta's unorthodox attacks wore him down! After the Poison Mist, Masters was never the same, and Muta pinned him after the Moonsault.

Jack Swagger found himself in the most unenviable position ever: Between Sting and The Undertaker in a Triple Threat match! And then it was made a Falls Count Anywhere Match! Swagger used every dirty trick he had...but Sting and Undertaker were ferocious! He even hit the Gutwrench Powerbomb on Sting, he just went nuts! CM Punk ran out as Sting hit the Scorpion Death Drop on Undertaker on the ramp, and he attacked The Stinger! As he was hitting the GTS on Sting, Swagger snuck over and pinned Undertaker!

WEEK 3

RAW

Justin Gabriel sat at ringside, getting in Kozlov's head as he faced Zack Ryder. The Greatest American Bolo was present to make sure there were no shenanigans, and Ryder pinned Kozlov after a reverse DDT on the floor and a Zack Attack in the ring.

Batista and Randy Orton had an intense fight, but Batista got the upper hand and scored the pin with the Batista Bomb.

Miz never looked like a real threat as Cena beat him in a Tables Match.

Tyson Kidd never seemed sure what he was getting into as he faced Shinsuke Nakamura, who blasted him with the Boma Ye for the win. After the match, he offered Kidd his hand, but Kidd slapped it and stormed away.

SUPERSTARS

Daniel Bryan took Steve Austin to the limit, but Vladimir Kozlov ran out! Though Bryan fended off Kozlov, it through Bryan off his game and Austin prevailed! After the match, Austin offered Bryan his hand, but Bryan thought better of it.

John Morrison pinned Sheamus in an amazing non-title match after Starship Pain!

MVP and Raven were FAR too much for Shelton Benjamin this week.

SMACKDOWN

Dolph Ziggler looked amazing as he battled Cody Rhodes in a Tables match. He fought off Christian before putting Cody through the announce table with a moonsault.

Christian and Kofi Kingston prepared to face off in a #1 Contender's Match for Todo Americano's Intercontinental Title...when it got turned into a Submission Match! Kofi looked tremendous, prevailing over Christian!

William Regal jumped Chris Masters before the match and hit the Knee Trembler on the floor, but could not follow up. Masters held his own in the ring, until Regal split him open with the Power of the Punch, followed by the Knee Trembler. He put his feet on the ropes for the pin.

Undertaker got some measure of revenge against CM Punk, fending off Gallows as well in order to score the pin with the Tombstone.

WEEK 4

RAW

A Fatal Four Way between Evan Bourne, Ted DiBiase, John Morrison and The Miz got off to a shocking start when Morrison attacked Bourne as he was coming down the ramp! Edge got involved for some reason as well, but Bourne still managed to pin Miz to get the win!

Chris Jericho rebounded from a prematch attack by Batista to beat him with the Walls of Jericho! Post-match, Wade Barrett came down to threaten Jericho!

Lex Luger brutally attacked Shinsuke Nakamura from the crowd before their match, but Nakamura gave him more than he was prepared for and finished him with a lariat!

Despite Shawn Michaels trying to cause distractions, Wade Barrett pinned WWE Champion Triple H after the Wasteland!

SUPERSTARS

Steve Austin fended off The Nexus in a Gauntlet! He reduced Gabriel and Bryan to bloody pulps, and made all three men (including Otunga) eat stunners.

Shelton Benjamin and Rob Van Dam squared off against Raven and his mystery partner...Mike Knox! Knox and Raven inflicted much damage, keeping RVD and Shelton grounded! Shelton was busted open by Raven before Knox ended him with the Knox Out!

Zack Ryder looked great, taking down Tyson Kidd!

SMACKDOWN

Luke Gallows never quite got in gear, getting pinned by Cody Rhodes as Christian made sure nothing crazy happened at ringside!

Shad jumped Big Show from the crowd, but showboated and it cost him as Big Show beat him down and made him submit! Swagger came out on the stage and taunted him!

MVP and Rey Mysterio brawled in the GM's office, with Rey ultimately knocking MVP out with a laptop!

Drew McIntyre and Todo Americano squared off as the first two competitors in a Championship Scramble for the Intercontinental title! They destroyed each other, until Christian hit the ring! Dolph Ziggler made his way out and put Todo Americano down with the sleeper hold, and remained interim champion through Kofi Kingston's arrival, winning the Intercontinental title!

SURVIVOR SERIES

Evan Bourne, Zack Ryder and R-Truth took on John Morrison, The Miz and Ted DiBiase! R-Truth let his emotions at his partner's betrayal get the better of him, and he got pinned by DiBiase! Ryder just UNLOADED on DiBiase, causing him to get counted out! Evan Bourne got some revenge on Morrison with the Air Bourne, and then pinned Miz as well.

Rey Mysterio, Rob Van Dam and Shelton Benjamin battled Raven, Mike Knox and MVP! Knox made short work of RVD, but then got counted out with Shelton on the floor. MVP and Raven were too much for Rey.

Lex Luger and Sheamus jumped DX before the next match, leaving Shinsuke Nakamura to battle Vladimir Kozlov in the ring! However, a snap Superkick by Michaels dropped Kozlov! Luger and Sheamus held on, but Nakamura blasted Luger with the Boma Ye and Triple H spiked Sheamus with the Pedigree for the pin.

Dolph Ziggler and William Regal ambushed Cody Rhodes and Christian, while Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston brawled. It was very even until Regal took Christian out with the Knee Trembler, then leveled Kofi with the Power of the Punch and the Knee Trembler as well. Cody tore Dolph apart on the floor, but Drew was the legal man, and he basically slid back into the Future Shock to get put down.

The Raw main event was bloody, as John Cena, Chris Jericho and Randy Orton faced Wade Barrett, Edge and Batista! Jericho ALMOST took out Batista with a Codebreaker, but fell prey to Wasteland. Batista crushed Orton with the Batista Bomb, and Edge pinned Cena with the Spear.

Sting joined The Brothers of Destruction in taking on Jack Swagger and the Straight Edge Society! Sting put down Gallows and Swagger with Scorpion Death Drops, while Undertaker sent Punk for the Last Ride!
