My biggest complaints about the Masterbook rules and Masterbook Companion is that they lack a bestiary. Brett Bernstein, head honcho of Precis Intermedia Games (and new owner of Masterbook) took that to heart and recently posted a mini-bestiary on his website. This is a slew of largely "normal" animals, so while it still won't help if you want, say, dragons or orcs, it at least provides a non-human reference for Masterbook.
